Lisbon Coast Overview

Take a ride on Tram 28

Lisbon is a hilly city & cobblestone streets abound, thus trams & funiculars help to get people around, very especially up & down hills & are an indisputable pictorial part of the city. The vintage yellow “Electrico 28” offers the most interesting route crossing the city centre, going through some of the oldest quarters & a few city attractions. We suggest starting from either end of the route in Praca Martim Moniz or at Campo de Ourique (Prazeres), to guarantee a seat so that you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

Listen to some Fado

Portugal’s national song is mournful, sad & accompanied by guitars but quite an experience! The Capital also has a Fado Museum well worth visiting!

Check out the beaches near the Portuguese capital!

Catching a train from Lisbon (Cais do Sodré station) to Cascais on the west coast, is a picturesque way to do so. They run daily and on a regular basis, taking no more than 45 minutes to reach its final destination, there are however quite a few stops with nice beaches before just take your pick!
